I resolve to try to be better in 2015 (its already March...)!!

 

I've recently been hired to do a few large family portraits/reunions - multiple generations, cousins, etc...they were awesome. I was reminded how important my job (and hiring a photographer) can be...one of the families lost a matriarch, a week after our session ....  Her daughter who had hired me was so thankful I was there to capture those memories for her, with her entire family. The conversation gives me goosebumps just writing about it... Life can be so crazy sometimes. If you want more information or pricing for a family function you have coming up, contact me! Anyhooooo...

2015 is already shaping up to be a busy year...Spring is around the corner, which means OUTSIDE photos again, FINALLY..! Weddings will be here before we know it, warmer weather, ahhhhhhhhhh I can't WAIT!! I love all the seasons Vermont has to offer but by about this time of year, I'm ready spring:)

Updates have been made to my website, new pictures are up...already spring cleaning..! Check out the changes, let me know what you think...One thing that hasn't changed for this year is my pricing..! Good news for YOU! 2015 Pricing remains the same as 2014. No guarantees for 2016, at least as far as weddings...I know there will be a slight price increase for full day weddings. Info to come:)

Glad to have you, hope you come back often.. I intend to update my blog on the regular, hoping for feedback (good and bad), witty conversation and banter..share some cell phone pictures and behind the scenes happenings.

I kicked off my wedding season for 2014 yesterday..it was a lovely small wedding. Myself and other local vendors (http://www.toptierbaking.com, http://www.taylorforflowers.com, http://www.crosbyhouse.com, http://www.hardyfoardcatering.com and more!), donated a complete wedding to the highest bidder for Vermont Vows magazine. All proceeds went to benefit the Make-A-Wish foundation. It was a fun afternoon and beautiful ceremony, Facebook sneak peeks to come!

Just a reminder, I am booking into May for portraits...between obligations at the dance studio, previously booked sessions and family vacation, April is BOOKED SOLID!! Even thinking ahead to fall...my orchard portrait sessions will be limited and senior portraits too..LOTS of fall weddings this year!
